Kidtober Kick-off is September 30 at the Board Hosted Spaghetti Dinner/Simchat Torah Celebration.

In the Jewish spirit of Tikkun Olam, Women of Adat Chaverim has teamed up with the Adat Chaverim Social Action Committee and designated the entire month of October as Kidtober. We will be collecting donations through the end of the month for 2 important causes.

First, it’s the annual Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center’s Teddy Bear Drive. Collected bears will make their way into the arms of children served by the Center.  Please note that the advocacy center can only accept NEW teddy bears.

Second, we are collecting needed supplies for the immigrant children in McAllen. Requested items include: baby & anti-bacterial wipes, diapers & pull ups, games (such as Rubik’s Cube & Jenga).

Walmart gift cards are welcome to purchase items in the correct sizes, food items, etc. Supplies will be sent to McAllen for distribution.

Help us make Kidtober a Success!
